Looking for umpires for the local minor softball league. We are looking
for parents, kids, older siblings, friends, neighbours.
Umpires can be 12-15 (junior), 16 -18 (intermediate) years old. As
well, we can use adult umpires (19+). Umpires receive a certificate,
manual, rule book and all equipment. Umpires are paid $25 for home
plate and $15 for first base. Depending on the number of umpires, each
umpire would do one or two games per week. Games are from 6:00pm-8:30pm.

Gloucester South Youth Softball Association
For boys & girls ages 4-18 years of age. Early bird (on-line) registrations starts January 1st, 2010. Walk in Registration Dates: Saturday, February 20th, 2010 from 9:30am-12:30pm at Sawmill Creek Pool, Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Fred Barrett Arena and Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 9:30am-12:30pm at Sawmill Creek Pool. Also looking for volunteers for coaching, umpires, etc. Great way to earn community service hours by volunteering. The season is summer-friendly, May and June.
