The NCC is planning on constructing a new section of pathway in the Greenbelt just north of Findlay Creek, starting this summer.

 The pathway will include a signalized crossing of Bank St. between Leitrim and Lester.

The pathway is part of a planned 56-km pathway stretching across the Greenbelt, connecting Kanata, Barrhaven and Orleans.

The FCCA is strongly encouraging the NCC to ensure that connections with other planned pathways in the area are considered, including:

-connecting to the Leitrim Park & Ride and planned Osgoode Pathway

-connecting the pathway with the Deerfield Village development, which would provide a safe pathway connection from Findlay Creek to Blossom Park and Hunt Club.
